Harlow and Liane

Say hello to my new Barrage Black Tips, Harlow the Red is the dark red barrage black tip with unusual white markings, odd under eye markings and several very deep horrible scars.  And his mate Liane the Green, the bright lime green naga with long spiked black markings.  All curled up around the beginnings of their family.  The two light green, brown speckled eggs are their offspring, while the dark brown spirally egg is one they adopted.  A old friend of their's died when she laid her single egg and the two couldn't bare to leave it behind. 

Harlow and Liane are a couple of naga's who were once a part of Fortitude's army from long ago.  They are also some of the survivors from when it broke apart, having escaped together into the capital wasteland with a few other nagas.
These two are real love birds, they've been mates ever since the escaped, but were sweethearts for a long time before that.  Having mates between two different colours like these two was frowned upon and discouraged, since the race that took control of their's wanted the special traits of the full Red, Blue's and Greens.   This didn't hinder these two, they pretty much loved each other right from the start.
Even in the army they were often found together, sharing these loving eyes and touches, which was often teased upon by the other solders.
Even Fortitude and Caerulean knew them for that, although they had never spent a lot of time with the young couple.  Fortitude found it endearing, and decided to have them in the back lines so there was less risk, even though Harlow was one of the bigger nagas and great at hand to hand combat.
It turned out to be one of Fort's better choices, because one day there was a major break in their lines.
Harlow was the strongest fighter and managed to defend Liane and most of the other weaker line until help arrived, but was seriously hurt in the process.  It was only the choice to have the couple back there that saved a lot of lives.
He has worn the scars from that day, and while many were scared off by them Liane has stayed by his side ever since.

I orignally made Harlow to be an adopt, but half way through I figured out that I wanted to keep him, and I thought he looked lonely so I made a whole family for him >w<
