Custom Controller Commission FAQ

Journal Entry: Wed Jan 25, 2012, 8:27 PM

If you're considering requesting a modded controller, please look over these Q&A's before you contact me.

Q: How much do your controllers cost? A: My rates depend on the intricacy of the requested mod. Generally controller prices fall between $90 and $220. Q: What if I have a particular image/design that I want on my controller? A: That's completely fine; you can ask for anything your heart desires to be painted on a controller. Simply explain to me exactly how you want it so I can tell you if it's doable and how much it will cost. Q: Are your controllers hand-painted? A: YES. Please keep that in mind. HAND-PAINTED. Q: Do your controllers have some kind of protective coating over their paint? A: Absolutely. Each controller is first painted with plastic-bonding lacquer over a strong adhesion promoter and then is sealed with a solid acrylic finish. After that protective finish is fully cured, your custom paint job will remain perfectly intact, even after years of heavy use. Q: Do you ship internationally? A: Yes. Q: Can I pay for my controller with a personal check? A: No, payments may only be made through PayPal. Q: How long will it take to receive my controller? A: The painting and curing process typically takes around four weeks. Once the finish is properly cured your controller will be shipped to you, which tends to take 3-7 business days within the US. Q: How do you know the controllers work after you mod them? A: Each controller is thoroughly tested after assembly to ensure that they are functioning perfectly.
