Looks a lot like a character I designed recently for school, yours is a lot better, but very similar. I should post to dA so you can see what I mean, but I'm a little embarrassed as there's a huge gap in skill.

Hey Svetlin,

I did really enjoy reading through this workshop of yours; was among my favourites in this IFX issue for sure :)

One step I did find difficulty with was the Colour Table, no problems in saving it, but it wouldn't let me replace swatches for some reason (greyed out). Ended up having to manually delete my current swatch and double click the saved Colour Table file which then added itself to the current swatch.

Wouldn't be able to shed any light on this by any chance? Google didn't help me much!

Cheers and congrats on the IFX feature :)

Thanks Pew,

I think there is a solution for your problem if I get it correctly.

The original swatches file extension is ACO. When you export the color palette it's exported as ACT. That's make the new palette invisible for Photoshop if you wanted to import it to the original swatches palette. The solution is to choose manually the ACT extension from the drop down menu. Then the file you export previously as a color palette will start to appear in your destination folder.

Hope to be of use and solve your porblem.

Sorry for such a late response, busy time of year and all!

Firstly, thanks for replying and trying to help me out; really appreciate it :)
And you're totally right, all I had to do was change the drop down to ACT instead of ACO; obviously I'd been far too hasty and totally forgotten to check that, hah.
Many thanks for the help! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year :)
