Hello! As a lot of people know deviantART went severely downhill once the website was sold to WIX, turning into a horribly coded website with constant bugs and backwards 'updates.' For a long time I was willing to stick with the site, and when deviantART first added their N/F///T-protect feature I thought there was hope for the site might be able to turn around...

However, their latest few update posts about N///F//Ts and we//b3 have begun to make it clear that they are no longer protecting people from those scams but actively welcoming it into the site.

Because of these changes I am no longer comfortable uploading my works to this site.

If I'm being honest I'm not sure where I'll go as I do not like twitter or instagram, and there's not yet been a good 'gallery/art community' type site that has come through to replace deviantART. However! I will still be using toyhouse actively and that is where I will be posting new artwork for my ocs and commission posts in the future. So if you'd like to keep following my updates, that'll be the place to go.

this account is a scam, i'm not entirely sure if this is the actual artist and they are reselling adopts to multiple people or if they are impersonating the real artist/stealing adopts - but either way they're selling adopts that have been sold already to other people

hello! i dont really do psas EVER but i came across an extremely sketchy adoptable seller on this site and wanted to put out a PSA since their content was being promoted to me on my home page and don't want anyone falling victim to either some sort of scam or AI generated adopts that are not listed as such!

the user in question is @Senflies, i had been promoted an adoptable by them late at night and tossed them a follow + favorited it to check back in on later

However when I went to check on the auction this morning I noticed the entire post was deleted and they had posted a brand new auction in a very different style;

Curious and a bit suspicious, I asked them for the ych.commishes link they mentioned people should check in the description because I thought I may be able to find the previous adopt made by them that I had been interested in only to be IMMIDIATELY blocked. Blocked.. for asking for the link they tell you to check? 😂 I assume I was blocked because of the big "ANTI AI" post on my page.

Obviously this changed my suspicion into alarm and I had a friend check to see if they deleted my comment which they had. I did some digging around further and found none of their art matches in style at all. It is very likely they are AI generating adopts without disclosing this information or stealing/tracing from other adopts

ANYWAYS! just be aware if you see this user's adoptable as they are likely ai generated and untagged, as well as there is lots of shifty crossposting/bidding that could indicate they are reselling adopts multiple times!

I know accounts like this are nothing new with the current state of deviantart but this account being promoted to me who has every AI tag blocked and every anti AI filter enabled, makes it clear they are trying to market their self as an honest artist and I don't want anyone to get scammed!
