 Here in Vector-MLP we love any vector what was made from any MLP vector artists. Here in Vector-MLP we love to help any vector artist in any way we can. What is a Vector? Vector graphics is the use of geometrical primitives such as points, lines, curves, and shapes or polygon(s), which are all based on mathematical expressions, to represent images in computer graphics. "Vector", in this context, implies more than a straight line. Vector graphics is based on images made up of vectors (also called paths, or strokes) which lead through locations called control points. How to join? There are 2 ways to join.  You can go to our group and right on the beginning of the page is a "Join group" icon, click it and JOIN! If you are lucky, one of the admins will find you and invite you in our group.Where to submit my Vector?  Chose th right folder and clicl on the right corner Submit Art Look for your art and click on it and submit it.I have a question? I have found a picture with an cool Rainbowdash Vector on a plane. I need the rainbow vector for a projekt but can't find it. I asked the creator of the picture ... but his last login was 81weeks ago so he probably don't use deviant art anymore so if some one know where i can get this vector from pls write me or send me a link to the vector.

I've tried to search for that Rainbow Dash image myself to no avail. I'm guessing that the artist made it for that drawing specifically, but may have used someone's else image with out proper credit. I can keep looking around though.

i use Vector all the time .. Adobe Photoshop is Raters where everything is pixilated.. Adobe Illustrator is all vector. shapes... i have experience from both..
however Ever since Serif Created Affinity Design .. i gave it a whirl... loved it, bough it.. the interface is not so cluttered, and is much more easy to navigate. and once you figure out how to work with the tools. it is easy as pinkie apple pie.. I'm Loving it. here is a visual of interface and my Character Digitally created in this program..

the tools i use
pen tool,
node tool
circle snap tool
break curve.
i overlap my lines like crazy
once lines done
go to stoke
use pressure tool
alter the width of each line to the way i like it..
once done go to layers expand my stokes..
edit my work..
well its a step by step process difficult to explain
i plan to make a visual guide. granted it would be handy for Affinity Design users.. not so helpful of Adobe Illustrator...
however Serif does provide a free trial where people can give it a try. the best part about Serif they combined both vector and raster. plus they do not make you rent their software..
i like when you go to help button on top click on help. and a pop up box shows up. explains how to use the tools. you can go to the box and type pen tool and it will explain to you how it works.
