Just another sword drawing and I kinda like how this one turned out.... Ok the pommel could use some polishing up, but hey I've just moved to a new place and the light is different and... OK, who am I kidding I just messed it up horribly
Paper: A4 90g/m2
Tools:2H to 5B pencils (Koh-i-Noor) , eraser, another eraser, yet another eraser, gimp (brightness/contrast).
Hahahaha! I've just noticed that there someone asked you before me too Looks like you found how to create intrigue Well, maybe still it means something. Like if you move it in some right combination while attacking the sign will startglowing with hellfire and something interesting will happen And I forgot to say that I like tonality here, creates volume without going to absolute black, and texture of matherials came out good (if I understand right, paper had no texture by itself)
Heh yeah ^^, however next time I'm gonna dust off my old runic books before I'll write something. Come to think of it you could use just one rune at the time... and there's one that means "torch", so the hellfire is a pretty plausible effect. Oh yeah, the paper had a pretty even surface.
It can still be, if you just imagine it. Plus each rune usually not only is a "letter," but also has a meaning like ice or sun. So you can also translate the writing into "torch", "mouth", "bow", "sun", "lake", "thorn", "cattle", "Ice"... which still lacks sense. XD
