If there no.oxygen in space how do they breathe.? Special magic allow them to breathe? Or some terraforming magic used to colonizers part of moon?
I'm gonna go with "it's magic." After all, it's the only explanation for a lot of the stuff that happens in the show itself.

Manehattan is city of Earth Pony. Canterlot is city of Unicorn. Cloudsdale is city of Pegasus. Crystal Empire is city of Crystal Pony. So somehow. Those Bat Pony just want to have their own race big city too. And NMM just want to have her own throne and empire to rule too.
so, if Luna has a spell on her that prevents her from crossing the portal, does that mean everypony in Equestria could just go to the moon? they need to build railroads through that portal

so..was this civilization formed while nightmare moon was on the moon? because if so then why did nightmare moon plan to take over equestria when she had her own city to begin with?
