Help bring awareness and support breastfeeding mothers!

The U.S. Surgeon General recommends that babies be fed with breast milk only — no formula — for the first 6 months of life. It is better to breastfeed for 6 months and best to breastfeed for 12 months, or for as long as you and your baby wish. Solid foods can be introduced when the baby is 6 months old, while you continue to breastfeed.

Why breastfeeding awareness?
I personally know the benefits and difficulties of breastfeeding. My child only got formula in the hospital because of medical issues. I exclusively breastfeed after that for 6 months and stopped breastfeeding when my child was 13 months old. I had people support me and people criticize me for doing it for so long. But it was my choice and I am proud of the one I made.

I had a friend who's little brother was 6 or older (can't remember for sure) before he stopped, and it actually helped him a lot. Comfort-wise, since his dad wasn't the best.  It helped him to have something to hold onto that he grew up doing.
