I tried a monochrome painting-only I didn't get the desired results and wound up with a pretty bland result.

Graciliraptor is from the Yixian Formation, the Lujiatun bed to be honest, which is the most ancient bed in the Yixian site. Anyhows, it is also one of the earliest raptors known from good fossils (some bit of jaws, hands, etc... are known).
The name means 'gracile thief' although the gracility has been seriously stolen away by the bulking up of the normally skinny body, by feathers on the neck and tail.

This is MONOTONE and not monoCHROME! ;p suck on it.....
