Much like people have different taste in foods, people have a different taste in movies, from Sci-Fi movies with 2001: A Space Odyssey and Star Wars, to 007 and Jason Bourne.
Now the same thing can be said for horror movies too, like say Psycho and The Shining, Halloween and Friday the 13th, Saw and Hostel and finally The Blair Witch Project and Paranormal Activity. I can even say it for Horror anime as well, the best two examples for this are, Death Note and Tokyo Ghoul, both have a strong fanbase, but both have their own elements of horror. Over nearly a year ago I stopped watching One Piece after watching the "Amazon Lily Arc", with my job and the recent video games I've been playing, it's been hard to free time to watch this beloved shonen that's been going on for 22 (20 years for the anime, it's as old as Spongebob Squarepants). But as of yesterday, I finally did what I thought I could never do again, watch One Piece, I know I've got a long way to go to reach the current number of episodes, but prior to this, last week I rewatched 3 episodes with the reunion of Luffy and Ace, and I like a challenge. I want to sail away with the Straw Hat Pirate crew again.
