Grief

Baghner was in Sithilus at the time of the invasion of Darkshore. He was assisting his fellow druids when news came of the attack. Horrified, he traveled as fast as he could to Darkshore, but unfortunately once he arrived the Horde was already attacking Teldrassil. Even though he is part of the Horde, he flew up into the tree and tried to get as many people out as he could. One of the last people he could get out were these little girls, who happen to be the granddaughters of Gertie, my worgen druid. Once back on Darkshore, all couldn't do anything but mourn for the great loss of life. Alliance soldiers later find the trio. Baghner surrenders willingly due to the immense guilt of what the Horde did, and is currently a prisoner of war.

As for what happened with the girls, they were reunited with their grandmother. Eventually they found their father, Gertie's son, with other refugees. He was alive, but horribly burned. Sadly their mother, a night elf sentinel, never made it out of the tree as she was helping with the evacuation.
