2 months without uploads. Man, I'm on a roll~
So uh, yeah. Go me for setting goals and not following through with them. Here's the short on what happened- the set of sprites I was working ended up not working out at the resolution and posing I set out to do them at, so those ended up not happening. Then, the other big thing I'm drawing has ended up being a larger time sink than I anticipated...but progress is still being made on it. So here's this thing I'm throwing out there as filler, basically.
Now I'm going to be totally honest- I don't like Mega Evolution. It's a concept that completely misses a good chunk of the point behind Pokemon in the first place and the Pokemon themselves seem unbearably broken, beyond Uber levels. Plus a good chunk of the designs are ridiculous and/or overly complex. That said, here's Mega Kangaskhan who, save for those few pixels on the baby, might as well have been a regular Kangaskhan sprite. Yeah, I don't think these things through sometimes. Hence why those other sprites never came together.

It's kind of odd how all the other Pokemon's Mega evolutions are so overly detailed and epic looking (most not bad, in my opinion) yet Mega Kangaskan is nothing more than "welp, baby popped out, with unfitting eyes~!". Very underwhelming in comparison to the rest. Looks better here, in sprite form than 3D (which brings to mind, god help the sprite artists if complex Mega Pokemon are ever reverted to pixels in future games...)
