Tutorial Showcase #5
This time we are one day late with our tutorial showcase series but that's ok. DeviantART is a great place to find not only art but also some awesome tutorials. It doesn't matter if you are interested in photo manipulation or writing, usually there is a tutorial for that. But at the same time there are so many great tutorials outside of deviantART and most deviantART users might never find them unless someone shows these tutorials to them. So I'm happy to introduce you a new journal series called "Tutorial Showcase" which features some awesome tutorials outside of deviantART. System is pretty simple. Every showcase journal showcases five tuto
Photography Troubleshooting: Capturing Autumn
For many Photographers, Autumn is now officially here and is one of the most exciting seasons to capture in terms of colour, change and vistas. Early morning mist, late afternoon sun, orange, red and golden hues - Autumn has a lot to offer in many countries. If you're like me, Autumn often arrives all at once and it can be tricky to know how to make the best of the season before it's over. A couple of days of high winds and rain can ruin the best Autumnal captures by ripping the leaves down before you've even got the chance to snap - so it's great to be prepared for the season. :bigthumb186109299: Leading lines are particularly useful. It is also valid to do them just for fun, with just a funny image and/or message. Since their introduction to the deviantArt galleries, millions of stamps have been created with a great variety of messages, both silly and serious, and you can see them all over the place, from journals to profile widgets. Every showcase journal showcases five tutorials from a specific category and this category changes with every new journal. There's no special placement, all of them are equal. So here we go!

Theme for this time is:

3D text effects in photoshop

This Adobe Photoshop text effect tutorial is definitely a quite easy one and you don't have to know much to get it done. It is a useful tutorial for people who would want to get this kind of effect but doesn't have Adobe Illustrator. Overall, steps in this tutorial are well explained and easy to understand. As far as I could see there were couple of steps missing but maybe they weren't added just because it's easy to do them yourself. Beautiful colors and nice effect makes this a wonderful tutorial.

-------------------------------------------

Another great tutorial from tutsplus, but when usually tutsplus tutorials can be quite difficult then this one here is a simple 10 step tutorial. It is really well made and easy to understand. I can tell you right now that I have done my text effects just like this for about 3-4 years now and it has always been easy and fast. Definitely a good tutorial to at least try out.

:pointr: Glossy 3D Text Tutorial

-------------------------------------------

Definitely a great tutorial with awesome outcome but if you haven't done stuff like this before then it might be a bit too hard for you to try it right now. It isn't the best step-by-step tutorial but I had to chose it just because it has a really beautiful and unique end result.

:pointr: Plexi 3D Text Tutorial

-------------------------------------------

Absolutely beautiful and a bit different tutorial from 3D text effects category. In this tutorial you will learn how to use new 3D tools from Adobe Photoshop CS6 and make some awesome text with them. It's quite a long tutorial and also with some hard parts, where you might get stuck. But the end result is totally worth it. However you must own Adobe Photoshop CS6.

:pointr: Autumn 3D Text Tutorial

-------------------------------------------

A really interesting tutorial teaching you how to make letter shaped houses and make them look like real. In my opinion it isn't a hard tutorial as there's a lot of cut, paste, transform action but at the end you will have a really interesting result. And once you have made your first house then everything else is easier from there.

And this is for this time. I hope you liked it and if you have some ideas for next time then please be sure to let me know.

And if you feel generous enough then please donate us to make this group as super group.
