DA must be run by artificial intelligence

Or fake intelligence.  Or none at all.

I keep having images taken offline because DA says I need to submit releases.  It's always the same model, and it's always images from one of three particular shoots.

Let's get this straight:  I have submitted the fucking releases!

In fact, I have submitted them multiple times, but apparently DA keeps getting new content checkers who are too stupid or too FUCKING BLIND to realize that they've seen the releases (REPEATEDLY) and that the releases (THREE OF THEM) refer to every single FUCKING image they've asked about, along with a few dozen others THEY HAVEN'T FUCKING NOTICED!

Oh yeah, that's because there's a computer someplace doing all the checking.

I give up.  I'll not submit anything else, and I'll leave this journal here as my swan song.

I wonder if they realize they've been SELLING photos of the same model they keep deleting?

Here are a few more they NEGLECTED TO DELETE:

As I said before, this isn't the first time.  It looks to me as if the DA censorship and mindless harassment team have to do this once a year in order to earn their summer bonuses.

I've reviewed the deleted works and they did not have a proper release form attached to them. When documentation is demanded you must provide a copy of the required document for each individual submission exactly as instructed otherwise you will not prevent it from being automatically deleted.

and my reply

Nobody ever asked me for a release for each submission, since I had submitted the documentation multiple times in the past, and doing so again would have been an exercise in redundancy and a huge waste of both my time and bandwidth.  It's a moot point now, anyway.  I've moved all my content into gallery storage and will remove it when my subscription comes up for renewal.

Seems kind of idiotic to submit the same release a hundred or more times, as the *real world* companies I've dealt with are satisfied with one release PER SESSION, not per image.

A "real world" company presumably is able to file all the photographs associated with a release form in a single location.

This is a website and here each photograph has a separate URL and they are capable of being submitted days or weeks apart from one another, two factors which guarantee that the images are not all neatly grouped together as they could be in a file cabinet. Therefore the release form needs to be individually associated with each submission. One release form for the session, but a copy of that one release form must be attached to each submission to avoid difficulties exactly like the one you face now.

Because the photos were uploaded years apart, the requirement would take me days of online time to come into alignment with this policy, which was *not* a requirement when most of the work was submitted.  Thus, I'll just go elsewhere.

I'm assuming you'll also pull down submissions in the prints account, since to my knowledge none of them has an associated release (as none was ever asked for).  Never mind, I'll get rid of them for you.

Hi there! Sorry to bother you, but you're one of my watchers and I wanted to give you a heads up that I'm leaving DeviantART completely. I had switched accounts a year ago, so I wasn't using this one anymore. If you'd like to continue keeping up with my work, you can check out the links below. If not, that's okay too. Thank you for your support up to this point, it means a great deal to me!

Hello Leland and thanks for your comment on SANDY [link]
The photo was taken January 13th 2007 (My birthday) in what was left of my house after Hurricane Katrina.
Sandy and Janessa showed up unannounced with a wonderful surprise birthday gift.
We made do with what we had and had a great night!

I don't know that there will be a move, but if so, I'll post here.

I do have a Myspace page, but it's not really devoted to art or photography.
