Over the past weekend, *twinfools and =Saiaphi cosplayed two of my original characters for me to match my Sarina cosplay. I did this back in July of 2008 with Twin, but I never really uploaded any photos.
July 21st is Sarina’s birthday so I wanted to redo the character to celebrate.
I am currently rewriting the series from book 1, but hope to have the first three books in the ennealogy finished by the end of the year. Will they be published? Maybe. Maybe not. It’s definitely something I would love to see happen, but I’m not going to hold my breath.
A little bit of character information:
Sarina is seventeen. She is very driven, stubborn and is always the voice of reason. People often make fun of her, calling her “mother” due to her mature outlook on life. She takes her studies very seriously and dreams of going into politics or journalism.
Her life takes a sudden downward spiral when her mother, father and herself are in a car accident. Her father vanishes and while everyone believes he died in the accident, Sarina refuses to believe he is dead. Her family is torn apart by the disappearance of her father and she becomes recluse to everyone— save for her childhood friend, Ian Selwin (Saiaphi cosplayed him).
She also slowly begins to open up to her new neighbour, Jake DeWinsle (the character twin cosplayed), who went through a similar experience.
Unbeknownst to Sarina, destiny had a bigger role for her to play and forming a friendship with Jake was the stepping stone to a greater adventure than she ever thought possible.
This is just a basic outfit for Sarina. There are some elaborate ones that I will be making some time this year (I hope!), but the outfit I really want to make is such a huge spoiler lol So I don't think I will do that one until later-- depending on publishing and all that jazz.

That's what my mom does and there are actually a lot of famous authors who started out on smashwords. It's not just novels either. Some post manga and comics. You can also self publish through amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com
Agents and publishers look at these sites for self published authors looking for agents and will contact them. Seeing as you have tons of fans, who I'm sure would be dying to read anything you've written, it wouldn't take long for your book to make it to the front pages of the sites. From one author to another I really hope you do get your book published! ;D
Your character sounds so intriguing! I quite like her design. I really hope that you get to publish these books of yours! I would DEFINITELY pick up a copy~ haha. <3
Very cool! I love seeing people cosplay their original characters. I wonder if I should try cosplaying one of my own someday?
First: I love your cosplay *--* It looks very cute
Second: If your book is ever published I will buy it to read it *--*
