I think showing the person naked sort of gets across the rawness of their feelings. It's just them, on the inside; no façade to hide behind. The choice of bright colour is new to me, partly because I relate it more towards happiness and life, but it is beautiful and to me it signifies the intensity of emotion.
I wish I could draw the female body as good as this. I'm gonna have to get practicing, just need to find a woman

Did you study somewhere? How did you learn to use color so vibrantly?!
Well not for Art, but it is my true passion and so my other degree is collecting dust. lol. I'm not sure how the colors came about, that's just how my paintings always ended up, even when I tried not to. So I decided to just go with it. I found the most important part to keep them "vibrant" is not making mud...there are a lot colors that don't play well together!! 
Haha well put! I should try cleaning my brushes more often 
this is beautiful...the emotion implied in the hair, shoulder and hands!
