I seek people to help me in the translation of my life work Terra Aluvis (written in German) into English language.
That's how it is. The first chapter was translated by a professional translator, a friend of mine, but she gave up, since it was too much for her.
So over the last months I was thinking desperately what to do now ... I REALLY want to have my story available in English languag

So here is a totally different (and definitely rather unusual as for Sacris!) drawing of my characters Sacris and Jerome from Terra Aluvis. No references used.
For those among you who like music, I composed a piece for Sacris and Jerome "Becoming One" - and I think it suits this scene here perfectly:

Wow, the details...
I love how you separated the two of them by two different color palettes, keeping the purple and orange even separate in the background. It somehow seems to support the difference in their personality. Orange seems for me to stand for warm and purple for daring, but a bit colder if not slightly arrogant.
And then the small details on their clothing and hair. The jewels, the mask patterns, the small chains, the collars decorated with gems. This interplay of metal, gems and cloth looks really beautiful.
And I guess it's true: when one is wearing a real mask sometimes one can feel saver and reveal it's "true face", while when facing the world "unprotected" he would hide between a mask of lies, trying to protect himself.
