Paintball by Valesco Paintball by Valesco
hey guys,

this is a birthday present for a friend. i hope he doesn't know this page or my account, so that he won't detect this pic before i gave it to him. i take that risk, cause i am sooo eager to receive your comments =).
obviously he is a paintballer. fortunately the politicians didn't prohibit this sport (the discussion was just some kinda election-publicism-topic).
his team's name is flying colors and he plays in some german league...i dunno exactly, since i am not an expert on this sport.

so enjoy and give me some advices about techniques etc.

(sry for that quality, it's a photography, cause my scanner is too small in format...)

The addition of the color is crazy distracting. Maybe highlighting the guys mask and a bit of the gun with some color could even it out and give it some balance.

nice to hear that, since drawing folds is the most delightful work!

The base of this picture looks really nice. The wrinkles and the clothing looks really good, as well as the weapon.

However, i think it's a bit.. uniteresting, mostly due to the sort of uniform gray feel of it. maybe you should try to have a bit more contrast, to some parts, like the deep wrinkles and some lines almost yet black, and don't be afraid to keep some parts really white. That makes an image much more interesting. That would also make the coloured parts look better, I think.
