Steampunk Christmas Ornament2

More steampunk fun with Fimo/Polymer clay. I took an ugly silver Christmas ball glass ornament and covered it with Fimo. Pearl Ex pigments give the polymer clay a metallic look. Finished with a green acrylic verdigris patina.

Size: About 8 cm in diameter.

This unique decoration object will be available in my Dawanda Shop: Valerianas Studio around November 09 :-)

This is just amazing! I'd love to try something like this, will most glass ornaments survive the baking process, or do you need a particular quality?

Thank you :-) Mmh, I only used these two, and I think those were really cheap. Usually, glass is very sturdy when it comes to baking with Fimo/polymer clay.
