How powerful is art? Can it show the real beauty? Can it show ideal and reality at the same time? This masterpiece can help us in order to try to find an answer to this mystery. Our passions, instincts and desires can become impulses to reach an aesthetic experience, if our mind can recognize beauty. This photographer has understood this. Looking at the wonderful face of the model, we can see a clear image of perfection, not disconnected with nature, but that goes beyond nature. What is the reason? A perfect balance between expressivity and beauty, between sensuality and purity. In this photo we can see a superbe choice of light, particularly on the face, and the little shadow is so useful to make the work deeper. In this photo we can recognize a wonderful pose, with a superbe choice of angles. White refined dress is complementary with the informal background. In addition we can find the line of sensuality that starts from the face and then goes down touching the covered but beautiful breast and arrives to the stunning legs, so important in order to underline the tridimensional vision of space.

Although I know it's a real shot, the way you have foreground detail against the washed out background with a "suggesting" break at waist level (cobblestone to her right thigh) almost makes it look like a false background...the contrast of "dreamy" and detailed "dreamy of the model is stunning. I love your work.

I won't write any Art Critic Mumbo Jumbo, but do think that it's a well framed and posed photo of a pretty girl in a beautiful dress. OTOH, I must disagree with the use of shadows (which IMNSHO is *way* overused technique), which take away from the "viewability" of the photo.
