My Bio

"We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, it's to create something that will."

I am an artist, a writer, a traveler, a thinker. I am a human made of flesh and bone; art is a way to allow my emotions to escape into the universe, instead of staying trapped inside my head.

I've started out with pen and paper, progressed to digital art and photography, and I'm still learning and experimenting.

I've come to find after long struggles that with every ounce of success, a heap of failure follows close behind. It's the success that radiates and pushes you forward.

There is nothing more pure than when other artists insight emotion within me. I hope to do the same with you.

This is an amazing piece. While it is bursting with colors which truly draws the eyes to it, the blues and reds that are used give a feeling of darkness, hopelessness, and sadness. This piece comes together perfectly, from the girl, to the skulls, to the scroll. None of it is too overwhelming. I love the words written on the scroll, especially "forever yearning" and "lost cause" - they seem to be looming over her and enveloping her, as if these are emotions she feels she can never escape. Furthermore, I love the mediums that you used, and the way this is illustrated. The tears are a perfect finishing touch. Great work!!

This is an absolutely beautiful digital painting, and a very unique idea. The texture and shadows on the skin flow well with the red sheet, covering the woman. The use of red in this piece also stands out, with the red on the sheet and the hint of red on the tattoo symbolizing the blood of her struggles. The title of the work flows well with the painting, demonstrating that the woman is an outcast, and gives a certain emotion of sadness within this piece. This is a very simple piece, yet it conveys the message and emotion behind it effortlessly.
