What, to the UK? Eeeeeh they are now, for sure. To not go into that nightmarish mismash that we call the UK political system, the general stance on emmigration is...complicated.

That sort of Metrics/Imperial conversions always confused me. I guess when they say everything's bigger in America they mean the statistical temperature numbers as well.

We Brits just tend to put on a second shirt or a fleece if it drops down to that temp. Or a second string vest, if you're a Geordie.
