The habenero slug produces a hot 'n spicy slime coating sufficient to deter most predators. Unfortunately, in recent years, the habenero slug has become highly prized as a spice, and are kept in small terrariums and 'milked' regularly. Since the slugs require highly specific mating conditions, (proper phase of the moon, great heat, and a suitable chili bog) they are nearly impossible to breed in captivity and are growing increasingly rare in the wild.

Acrylic, 5 x 7. Smallest of the Weird Fruit so far. The original is for sale! Drop a note...

OMG! I absolutely LOVE this one! It's soooooooooo awesome! And I absolutely love the little story-thing that goes with it! It's very descriptive and neat and I like that you talk about them as if they actually exist! Again, AH-MAZING WORK! :excited:

Bwahahahahaa... Milking slugs!!!!! I'd give my favourite gummibear for seeing how they do that.... Lovely done and thought! Btw, have you ever tried writing stories? And I don't mean the comics. Actual stories. Because I adore your style with words, too.

i really vastly appreciate your descriptions that accompany your art work. not that the artwork itself isnt to die for also, they compliment each other so well.

i have vastly enjoyed this last flurry of submissions, only one complaint, where did your beloved warthogs go? *peers under the carpet for them*

The weird fruit might possibly be the best thing ever. Sure it's not toliet paper or air, but it's damn near important enough. It's just wonderful.

May the Fruit be with you.
Oh, I'm going to have to hit myself for that. :stupidme:

Spicy food addict approves.

Then you have the rarer, even more prized relative of the habanero slug, the chocolate habanero slug, which hasn't been seen in the wild for decades and appears to be survived by a mere handful of individuals in captivity. Choco-slug advocates have been working tirelessly to reintroduce them to the wild, but so far their efforts have been in vain.
