Bad Egg

Eggs usually start out good. A good egg is pretty inoffensive. But sometimes eggs go bad. And Mortimer was a very bad egg indeed.

As a child, I always found Humpty Dumpty to be kinda creepy. And stupid. I mean, how dumb does an egg have to be to go sitting on walls? And who's bright idea was it to send the king's horses to put him back together? Reassembling an egg would be nearly impossible with tweezers, magnifying glasses, and opposable thumbs, let along trying to do it with mondo hooves. Idiocy. But creepy. And I'd been sort've blocked lately, and looking at a lot of art by the incomparable James Christensen, and the next thing you know...Mortimer, and the little egg-beater wielding assassin. Die, wicked egg!
