Taranis the Thunderlord by Andy Smith

Awhile back, artist Andy Smith had shown off a promo piece he had done for a football team. It featured a white-haired (no mustache) god on a cloud.

What struck me about it was how closely, with a few tweaks in photoshop, it could look like my own Taranis. And so, just for fun, I did some recoloring and adding of a few details, some dialogue, and bam! I’d say it works pretty well as a variant-costume Taranis, perhaps from some point in the distant past.

I showed it to Andy, and he was impressed with how nicely and effectively it converted to Taranis as well.

As I said, this was just for fun.
