Patriot

Patriot here is pretty much nothing but a plot device. Son of two Golden Age heroes (Lady Liberty and Captain Victory), and father of two modern age heroes (Captain Liberty and Lady Victory).

It was his death and posthumous manipulations that made his children take up his fight, against their better judgment. Fortunately for them both, they far outstrip their father in terms of sheer physical power, and his son Captain Liberty has taken to the role of hero like he was born to it.

During the Cold War, Patriot was one of several operatives the US sent into hostile areas to deal with the 'Red Menace', alongside a few of his own parents' former allies.
