These pictures are from this past September, but I thought I'd share them.
When I was a kid, there was always something about El Dorado on the Super Friends TV show that made my head scream that he was supposed to be a stand-in for the Martian Manhunter. And so, I decided to make him another Earthbound Martian operating out of Mexico. In his backstory in my head, the Aztec and Maya civilizations were heavily influenced by ancient Martians, which he came to Earth to investigate. He was here when the Martian race was wiped out, and has been hiding ever since. When J'onn J'onzz began operating in public, he was inspired to follow suit, albeit while retaining his human form. He would only reveal his true Martain nature to J'onn.
One kitbash of a variant J'onn and a spare El Dorado later, and I present to you El Dorado -- M'nell G'tezz aka Dr. Manuel Gutierrez.

Your "headcannon" for El Dorado is soooooo cool. The invisibility El Dorado used was a common J'onn trick.
