Making fill-in-the-blank memes about fictional characters' fear or sadness over Britt Allcroft's death is a bad idea for several reasons rooted in disrespect, emotional insensitivity, and poor taste . While some find humor in dark or sensitive topics, creating memes in this manner is harmful and serves no productive purpose.  Disrespects the deceased and their family Insensitive to loved ones: Allcroft's friends and family are in mourning. Encountering a meme that trivializes her death, even indirectly, would be extremely painful and disrespectful to their loss. Dismisses her legacy: Allcroft was a real person with a real life's work. Reducing the news of her death to an internet meme is dismissive of her contributions as a creator.
