The group only accepts fully finished drawings that are directly related to the MOTHER series. Submissions are limited to 5 per day. We want to avoid spamming our members' inboxes with an anything-goes scrapbook. Please DO NOT SUBMIT:
Unfinished sketches
Badly scanned or photographed drawings
Tracings or any works using "base art"
Drawings with excessive watermarks
Zip files
Images using official art or sprites

Please make sure you submit to the correct folder! Things can be moved if necessary, but please pay attention to where you're submitting, it'll make the admin's job a little easier

EarthBound is now a T-rated game (+12 in Europe), so a slightly bigger degree of violence can be accepted. Nonetheless, do not submit art with excessive violence and sexuality. If you're unsure about a picture that seems borderline, feel free to submit it, but we'll make the final judgement call. [This applies to fanfictions as well]

Urfbownd isn't about artwork that involves crossovers, original characters, or bizarre pairings. We aren't going to tell you how to interpret the game, but given the group's aim, Belch x Jeff is not going to be a good fit. Our goal is to appeal to MOTHER's wide audience, and to remain faithful to the game that inspired us.
In principle, Smash Bros. art may be acceptable, but there must be a clear EarthBound element that can appeal to fans.

Do not submit more than once. If your artwork was declined, it doesn't mean that your artwork is bad! Take it as encouragement to improve and don't ask the admins why your submission has been declined. A quick look through the gallery should give you a good idea of what we're looking for.

Include a background. It makes all the difference.
Fully illustrate your picture. Pencil can look sketched unless the shading is meticulous.
Try out a new angle. An extreme angle can be a lot more exciting than a plain, head-on one.
Add some action. Instead of a posed group shot, a candid scene can be a lot of fun.
Try a unique drawing style. Make it stand out!

A club requesting affiliation must have some kind of remote relevance to Earthbound. In keeping with this group's guidelines, Urfbownd will not affiliate with clubs that have sexual or excessively violent material in the gallery.
