It's probably my favorite studio set up yet. For one simple reason - it's the first time in my life I've faced the drawing board towards the center of the room instead of against a wall. If you think about it, most artists spend the majority of their time drawing and the "space" they exist in is basically a 2-3 foot radius... So facing my desk out sort of opened up my world to some degree and I feel less confined. I don't know why I didn't think of that sooner...!
SIDE NOTE: my studio is always this clean. I can't deal with clutter. That said, I'm not terribly neat either.
