WIP for the Master Chief Glove. Its almost done so might as well get it off my table by completing it.

Still need to work on overall proportions, length/girth of fingers
Integrate the resin parts to the glove
sculpt in complicated HEX pattern in the glove.
Mold and cast

phew!

I have a question, Where do you get your arms you sculpt on? or do you make a mold of your own arm?

Molded my own

Awesome, first Halo 4 build i've seen and it looks spot on :)
I started a H3 armour build from pepakura half way between H4 and Reach, i dont know if i should stop and wait for a decent H4 one, wish i was good enough to sculpt my own.

Nice. There's a thing though.

Compared to the pic, the armor plate on the back of the hand could be perhaps 2mm. thicker, and perhaps enlarged ever so slightly to cover more surface area. But then again, fuck it. Too much work.

Over all, there's only a few shape inaccuracies that are really minor. But people unknowledgeable in this field would not notice. Hell, I didn't notice them until after 10 minutes of staring. It's an awesome design and I can't wait until the final product is shown.

I think it should be smaller. The sad part about all this is, whoever is wearing the armor, those people will be staring at their whole body and not my gloves

You do know the the long piece that you put on the index fingers is the glove and not armor? I don't know the process you go threw when making this, but I don't want you to mess up on something that can look really cool.

Yes i know but the only way to make the shape is with resin to match left n right . You know this will be molded right? So it doesn't matter what i do at this stage

I don't know what you're doing I just know you're sculpting or whatever you call it. :P That's why I stick to drawing. Hope it turns out good. :)

Or just for the cold Part of the Year^^

Maybe i am ordering a Copy, if they aren´t too expensive for a Freelancer like me.

I'll have to figure out the pricing, cuz I'm using silicone molds. PLaster molds don't last and sucks making those castings

Silicone Mold for Gloves?

Now you got my Attention, i never saw someone that made it this Way.

Maybe also adding a Tutorial for this?^^

The reason why is plaster or hydrocal will never produce tiny hexagonal texture better than silicone. The detail is in the money spent on quality material. Plus I can yield 200% more castings from it than a plaster mold which will crumble into pieces over time from the ammonia absorbed from the latex.

As for tutorial I will put all the pictures I took from this project and word bubbles...
