Can you do a picture of Severus like proffesor ,please?

Minerva is my favourite female teacher.

Realised I've never actually commented on this amazing piece of art! I love it - her expression stern, but there's this little hint of a smirk at the corner of her lips, like she's secretly laughing at her pupils and fellow teachers. xD

You've drawn all the heads of Houses, so I was wondering if you're ever going to draw the founders of the school and houses themselves? I'd love to see your interpretation!

Thank you so so much as always!!

And here's the link to the list of all the characters I WOULD LIKE to draw, but whether I WILL draw all of them, that's a different question. Basically everyone's on that list, but I'm gradually getting tired of this portrait series and it might be ending soon, I really don't know :)

Ha, you're very welcome!

Oh wow, that is a very comprehensive list. How you haven't run out of ideas might be a bit of a mystery, but hey. xD And don't think you're under any pressure to do all of those portraits - if they stop being enjoyable to make, then stop making them. Simple. You could always just continue later if you want to, but even doing as many as you have already is pretty impressive. (I mean, personally I'd just like to see Dobby before you stop, because who doesn't love Dobby? But if you were to do Firenze, would that also be just a head shot, or full body? That could be quite a good challenge, creating a centaur!)

Right?? :D I just want to illustrate pretty much every character in the books, but I know I am not really physically and mentally capable of achieving that, considering I'm already very slow at getting those portraits done and I'm less passionate about them than I used to be. But I still have done a lot and I'm proud of myself for lasting this long! :D As you said, I can always stop and get back to it if ever/whenever I feel like it, it's not something I MUST do, it's something I WANT to do, and if I stop wanting to do it at some point, it makes sense to stop :)
And ahh Dobby I knooowww... he's such a tough character to get motivated to draw, because all my passion in drawing comes from drawing people, I love human faces, I love human bodies, I love humans :D And I don't like drawing non-humans, like animals. And Dobby is, well... not a human :D Therefore it takes another kind of skill to imagine and draw his face, because all the proportions are different from human, which is what I'm used to. So yeah, it would definitely be a challenge, but I don't know how much I'm actually excited for it :D And if I were to draw a portrait of Firenze, it would be just a portrait, his face, but I would try to do something a tiny bit different so that he would at least FEEL like a centaur. THAT is a challenge that I actually would be excited about, because it's still a human face, but there should be something very subtly different about him, and that'd be fun to try to accomplish. But yeah, I don't know, we'll see :D

I mean, it's quite a task you've set yourself, doing all of them! And getting through so many so far, and then realising you still have shedloads to do to finish them all... xD Oh the joys of a big project.

Ah, yeah, Dobby's in a class of his own! I guess the easiest way for me personally to go about it would be to start with a human face and then exaggerate certain features, like make his nose even longer than a long human nose, and the eyes more round and bigger... I don't know? But I mean, I struggle enough with humans as it is - although maybe drawing a house-elf would be easier because they're not SUPPOSED to look like humans? Hmm... Maybe I should try it. :D Oh, yeah I see what you mean about Firenze! that could turn out pretty interesting, although I have to say the centaur faces in the films didn't convince me somehow, but maybe that's just me. I'm interested to see what you come up with to make Firenze look different!
