Autobots + Decepticons

I've never seen anyone try to combine the Transformers logos.
They seem similar, but remain distinct. Could there be a middle ground?
Autocons... Deceptibots...

I'm not big on Autobots or Decepticons or Transformers for that matter. Especially after the Michael Bay films.

However, the original transformers that came from the MicroChange line of toys in the 80's are... pretty awesome.
They included a pistol (Megatron), microscope (Perceptor?), casette recorder (Soundwave), and a boom box (Blaster).
There were also several cars, like a VW bug (Bumblebee) and a Porsche (Cliffjumper).

None of those made it into the movies. None.
So to hell with the films.
