THE NEW CONTEST DEADLINE IS MAY 31ST!
We’d like to celebrate the revival of this group with a fanart contest!
RULES
1) Read The End. Choose your favourite character so far.
2) Draw them dressed up as your favourite sci-fi character from movies/tv/games/books.
3) You can enter as many times as you like, but it won't win you any bonus points. Just more chances to win!
4) Entries must be submitted by May 4th, our one-year anniversary!
5) Entries must be finished pieces. If you’re going to submit a pencil sketch as an entry, it should be fairly polished.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
1) Submit your deviation to the Contest Folder in the Group Gallery. You need only have a deviantart account to do this, and you don’t need to be a part of the group to submit.
2) If you do not have or want to have a deviantart account, you may email your submission to me via The End’s contact form.
3) Your entry only has to be 72dpi, but if you would like your fanart (and a link to your comic/website/art, as well as a plug for you) to be included in a future Print Edition of the comic, you’re welcome to e-mail me a higher resolution copy of the image, or at least let me know so that I can call on you when the time comes.
JUDGING
The contest will run until May 4th, and the judging will be done in the week after that. Judging will be composed of two parts, which I will outline below:

We three judges will be rating each entry separately. Scores will be added together, and entries ranked! The top three will be declared the winners, which will be announced on the 11th of May!
PRIZES
And now for what you’re really interested in, prizes!
ALL ENTRANTS will have their entries added to a special gallery on The End’s website. Each entry will include the artist’s Name and Website link!
THE TOP TEN ENTRANTS will get a shout-out news post dedicated to plugging their various projects on both the Deviant Art group and The End’s front page.
THE TOP THREE ENTRANTS will get a more in depth news post on both the Deviant Art group and The End’s front page featuring their entries and plugging their various projects, websites and comics, if they have them. They will also win the following prizes!
3RD PLACE

TOTAL WORTH: $72
2ND PLACE

TOTAL WORTH: $125
GRAND PRIZE WINNER

Those are some nice prizes, and if we get a lot of entries, I will be inclined to add more to them! On your mark, set, GO!
