Bio:

Rarity had recently gotten divorced to her wife of five years, Applejack. They had loved each other very much, but their arguments could be explosive and drawn out of proportion. They thought it was the best, for both of them, to separate at least for a little while. The separation lasted longer than they expected, as each of them realized that there were other ponies they found themselves attracted to. They decided just getting a divorce was the best.

Rarity moved back into her boutique, as she had been living on the farm. They had built a house near the farm for both Rarity and AJ to be comfortable in, but Rarity thought it best to separate a bit more than that. Little Ambrosia would probably take the house when she got older.

Rarity had noticed Filthy Rich around town a lot more often than usual, sometimes coming unto her boutique to create a suit for himself or several dresses for his daughter Diamond Tiara and her fiance Silver Spoon. She learned Mr. Rich had divorced his wife after his daughter and wife got in a huge argument. Mr. Rich couldn't stand anypony treating his daughter like that, and kicked her to the curb. Rarity was impressed and happy for him to rid of her, but the poor stallion seemed so lonely as of late.

So, she decided to ask the stallion out. Just a simple coffee in the morning before Ponyville got bustling. Rarity found that she greatly enjoyed Rich's company, and as did Filthy Rich. He was soon inviting her as his date to parties and company dinners. Had Rarity not already been a big name in the fashion industry, she would have thought it her big break.

Rich was a great gentlecolt. He was always sweet and kind, although perhaps a bit silly and a tad naive. He was a very trusting individual, which seemed odd as he was a business pony. But she understood immediately when she saw him at work. He was a very different pony when working. Rarity could relate too, and helped him whenever he needed it.

Eventually Filthy popped the question, and Rarity said yes. Why wouldn't she? A sweet gentlecolt who knew business and respected her? What more could she ask for? She felt a bit silly too... he was the exact sort of stallion she had been looking for years ago, and yet he had been here in Ponyville the entire time.

They had a very big wedding, inviting almost all of Ponyville to attend. Diamond Tiara and Sweetie Belle had a good laugh now that Sweetie was now technically Diamond Tiara's aunt.

Rarity settled down with Filthy Rich in his mansion, returning the boutique back into just a store again. This was probably for the bes, considering Rarity found herself pregnant just five months after the wedding.

Filthy was nervous but happy to have another child. He wanted to give this child a better childhood than Diamond had received from her own mother.

Precious Pearl was born just a day after Hearthswarming Eve, a sweet and tiny little thing. Pearl currently still lives with her parents and is in process of making her own jewelry store.

Personality:

Precious is extremely emotional. She can be grumpy at one moment to angry at the next. She's the type of pony who is "woe is me", cursing her own appearance and her family's wealth. She wishes that she could just be an average teen with an average family but nooooo, she can't have THAT.

Despite this, she is a very driven pony and decides not to use her parents vast fortune for her own gain. She's not afraid of getting dirty and goes out herself to beaches and searches for oysters, mussels, and clams for the best and most lustrous pearls.

Relationships:

• Precious and her parents have a bit of a rocky relationship. Pearl is more of a daddy's girl, since he doesn't scrutinize her choice in make up or music tastes. Rarity doesn't scrutinize either, but tries to encourage different types of clothes and media. Rarity is very aware Precious is in a phase.

• Ambrosia and Precious Pearl aren't really sure how to interact. Ambrosia is a southern belle with a sweet attitude, and Pearl is a groaning angsty teen. Thankfully they don't fight, but they don't talk much either.

• Pearl and Sweetie's family are closer than you'd expect. Pearl and Lotus get along quite well, mostly due to Lotus' laid-back attitude, too lazy to argue against Pearl about the woes of her life or how annoying her mom is. Lotus tends to be the voice of reason. Unfortunately, they don't see much of each other since they live in Canterlot. But Rarity brings Pearl on visits or business whenever possible.

• Pearl has HUGE crush on anyone who is villain. The first time she saw Discord, she fainted. She has a collage of pictures of villains.

• Princess Luna is her favorite princess.

• She intentionally paints her make-up on to drip, which can take a good hour.
