So, for the longest time there have been reports of a very specific YouTube phenomena Whenever someone uploads a video, people immediately get mass unsubscribed. This has been happening to me personally for quite a few years at this point. In the worst case scenarios, I've lost about 500 subscribers while I uploaded. I think it was the Wayside video where that happened. In the past 24 hours since I've uploaded The Buzz on Maggie, I've lost around 116 subscribers, after about a week of being positive in the entire week prior. In the day I uploaded the video, I lost a total of 89 subscribers.
There are many theories about this. Unfortunately that's all that they can be, because YouTube hasn't offered any explaination beyond "YouTube does not unsubscribe you from channels". Which is a lie, as we'll get to. There are three prominent theories about this:
