Labyrinth OCT - Aengus/Cethlenn Round 1 [Part 3]P3
Emerging from the water out of a pool within a large elaborate room with three other pools alongside it. There was a more ordinary looking door that was closed to the right, but to the left had a more distinct door which while also closed had a massive and ornate mural above it of a beautiful maiden surrounded by water in a blood red gown. This door looked like it could be one of the exits they were told about. There was a alter that stood a bit in front of the door. Aengus sat down by the poolside, as Cethlenn inspected the room. Aengus wasn’t really in the mood still lacking arms. He’d have to fix them later, they seemed safe enough where they were, but he didn’t want to attract any kind of unwanted attention, especially if they were this close. Cethlenn first checked the door on the right, it was locked on the other side and was probably meant to act as the entrance to this chamber after beating a separate obstacle. Next Cethlenn checked the alter, shockingly it was cover in dried

Off in the distance Aengus could see what looked like a river, within a section of the swampland to the far side of the expanse and a large grin went across his face. At that moment the hoard had reached the top of the pyramid and let out more roars and screeches. Aengus quickly began hopping back down the tiers of the structure at the closest side to the river. The hoard was again quick to follow but the combination of height and multiple jumps resulted in the massive hoard destroying itself as they keep breaking bone and tripping over each other. The only exception was the massive husk that was keeping up with mostly ease, it didn’t get down with as much grace and ease as Aengus and fell behind a bit. As they reached the bottom and ran off a bit Aengus stopped. Cethlenn confused asked. “Why did you stop?” “Look.” Aengus pointed back up at the hoard, Cethlenn squinted trying to get a better sight on the remains of the hoard. They were getting back up. Not only that their injuries

The hoard of husks that must be the “Locals” let out a roar at Aengus as they starting to run towards him. Aengus books it, running as fast as he can as the hoard chases. For once Aengus was genuinely panicking, not for his own situation but because Cethlenn was stuck here with him and she was probably in danger. “CETHLENN!” Aengus shouted at the top of his non-functioning lungs. Running back through the city square as the hoard follows closely behind him. As he got back to the elaborate structure, they both had arrived at he shouted out Cethlenn’s name again. He jumped back up onto the walkway with ease, both in a attempt to find Cethlenn faster, but also to get some distance on the hoard. Looking behind him he could see them passing under the walkway to go through the main entrance while some of them started to attempt to climb the stone columns up to the walkway. Aengus then runs inside where Cethlenn had entered earlier. “CETHLENN WE GOT A PROBLEM!” A loud recognisable groan
