Keep on Swimming

I know both more and less than ever before.
The question that matters is 'why?'
We are all capable of much, but should we not have a good reason to act? For us to change the world, should we not have a darn good motivation?
My mind is sharper than ever before, but my will is still shattered. Sometimes I can grab onto a fragment, and push it through an obstacle, but the blade that cut through every obstacle I ever faced... needs to be reforged.
Ha, "needs"... it really doesn't have to be.
The null-sum game of life is only as compelling as we are delusional.
That is the problem, or not-problem with a shattered will. Desire itself ceases to exist, and without desire, how can motivation persist?

The point is moot.

Keep on swimming, keep on swimming. Sooner or later we all get devoured by one thing or another. Sometimes the sharks are others, sometimes they are the madness within each of us. Sometimes it is the passage of time that leaches everything we are away from us, sometimes we can trick ourselves into thinking otherwise. Self-deception........ I wonder if it is a human trait, or if it is essential to all thinking things. Knowing what I do of biology, I rather suspect that it is the latter.

Enough. It is time to grab onto another shard of will and stab at this wall I now face. Though it may hurt, and though I no longer know why, I will do it. Keep on swimming... what foolishness, but perhaps a fool such as I must do so.

Even to my death? It's so beautiful, I'd keep going on an on and on.

Indeed, but what matter to me is the swimming the moment day by day. Also one have to find each own motivation.

Wonderful art as always.
