"everyone thinks global warming is bad. But most of them don't even try to do anything about it although it's simple.

We will be featuring a few artists on a page! If you want to be featured, follow these easy steps!!
Steps:
1) Post a comment below with links to two (or more, up to five accepted) of your artworks that address any social, political, environmental, or economical problem
2) Write a few sentences describing/introducing yourself and each of your art. (for example, include things like your beliefs on a particular issue, what medium you used, etc.) These will be quoted on the feature page!
That's it! We will review over each of them, and will notify you if you are eligible to be featured!
Please feel free to ask any question in the comments section down below.
We will be looking forward to seeing some great art!

Please read the rules before submitting! Submissions that do not comply with these rules will be rejected without notice. Our group's primary focus is to raise awareness for any type of problem going on in the world, whether they be economical, social, political, etc. Art is a powerful way to tell a message, and through its use, we believe that we can make a difference in the world! And this is where we need your help! We really appreciate contribution to our galleries, but we do have a few rules. Your can submit any artwork that fits into any of our folder categories listed below, and is attributed to any of the problems in the world. *NOTE: the artwork must directly pertain to the issues! For example, a photography piece of a tree could be implied as an artwork promoting environmental protection– however, if that purpose is not explicitly stated or plainly visible in the description or the artwork itself, we cannot accept the submission. Special exceptions could be made, however we cannot accept any fan art or cosplays for the time being! sorry for the inconvenience. Other exceptions are possible, as we judge each submission case-by-case basis. please feel free to contact us for any questions! Categories: Digital Art - This folder will contain any drawings, digital paintings, or any other kind of digital art made using a computer other than graphic design, which will have its own folder. Traditional Art - This folders will contain any art made with traditional mediums such as pencil, paint, charcoal, pastel, and any other sort of art not made using any digital means. Photography - Photographies go here. We have a separate folder for graphic designs and photomanipulations! Literature - Poems, stories, and other writings go here. Graphic Designs and Photo-Manipulation - Pretty self explanatory! Crafts - Crafts go here. This includes pottery, knit items, and pretty much anything that would be categorized as "crafts." Contest folders - we occasionally hold contests! Here, you will find all of the entries. Please do not submit here unless you are entering a contest. We have decided to categorize the folder by the medium used for the time being, however it is subject to change in the future. If it ever does, we will notify the group and all existing submissions (that do follow our current submission guidelines) will be relocated to new folders. if you have any suggestions on how to the folders should be organized, please feel free to contact one of our admins! |

Hi there!
I have recently traveled to South Africa as part of a volunteer trip. This trip changed my life in so many ways. I have come back to Canada more inspired, and with an even greater urge to help make a difference.
I have started a donation pool on my page. My goal is to raise 60 000 points to purchase 50 (based on regular price) "Artist In The Making" children's shirts to donate to children who are in need in South Africa. I will be donating the shirts to Volunteer Eco Students Abroad as this is the organization that I went to South Africa with and I feel that I can trust them with my (and your!) donations. They will be distributing the shirts to children in St Lucia, South Africa and surrounding areas.
I am simply trying to get the word of my project out through posting these messages where I believe deviants who will be willing to help will see it.
If anyone would consider visiting my page and donating (please donate to my pool, not directly to me) even just one point to this cause, it could make a strong impact on a child's life, with very little effort. Every point counts! Thank you in advance

Hi, I'm sort of new to this group, and a few weeks ago I submitted some of my drawings, but haven't received anything notification since.
Did I make some mistake while submitting it? Or does it just take a while for the admins to see it and accept or reject them?
