Watched it for the 5th time but still amazes me and I can watch it again! The Shawshank Redemption is "The Movie". This is one of those movie which I never wanted to finish and I wish it can go on and on. Narrated by one of the greatest actor Morgan Freeman who himself gives the performance of a lifetime in this movie. I love Frank Darabont movies one of his another masterpiece is The Green Mile (1999) which is also in my all time fav movie's list. But nothing can win again TSR! This is one movie which is created just for those who enjoy pure cinema and nothing else. Most of the reviews that I read in all these years there was hardly anyone mentioned the performance of Bob Gunton (The Warden) I believe his performance is one of those key elements which is related to this movie's huge success. Now going back to Tim Robbins he was splinted. I don't think he can ever perform the way he did in this movie. When I saw this movie for the 1st time I become a huge fan of him and the second day I watched I.Q (1994). This is one movie which doesn't have any action or special effects its pure cinema! The Shawshank Redemption carries a record of most profited movie from movie rentals! All in all anyone who haven't seen this brilliant movie then please watch it to see one of the greatest movie ever made in the history of cinema....
