Ok so this Pack was made because the guys from Songbird made it to the stable version 1.0 and because somebody contacted me requesting for the new songbird icon in tango style - an idea that I liked very much. So after finding some hours of time while being busy with preparing and learning for my abitur I was doing the new Icon (bottom-left) with that nice little birdie, the icon with the egg (bootom-right) is taken from rofile"rugby471 and all changes I made for it (including the original Icon) are under GPL(!!). The others are under Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 License. The first icons (Grey and White) are out of my published-before Mozilla Tango Icon Set.
HAVE FUN!

Please be patient with other releases cause I'm really busy till summer!

Update 1: Added 24x24 and 22x22 - for all Gnome and KDE users.

thanks for your kind words.

Abitur is something like A-Level - but on a much broader spectrum, e.g. one science (chemics, biology or physics) has to be taken, 2 foreign languages have to be taken (English and French or Spanish in most cases), German, Math, English and in my case Econmics are the main subjects. Five exams have to be made, 4 written, 1 oral. Most pupil begin to learn about 6 months before the exams are taken to learn for them.
With an Abitur you are allowed to study.
Just to give you a little taste I give u a short list of my subjects:
Economics, Math, German (Literature), English, Spanish, History/Civics, Economical Geography, Ethics, Physics, Computer Science and Physical Education.
And as I write this down I only have to take the Oral Exam (History/Civics in my case) - I made the others.
You have much easier system of education in the UK. :)

seems to me that Germany is more orangized than the UK where the subjects coincide with each other. here we have exams all over the place and people getting really stressed on to revise for exams.

Believe me German students get stressed too. We have less exams but I think ours are harder :)

The "New Songbird" icon (the yellow bird) looks quite nice! :)
...but why isn't there 24x24 size?

Do you need one in 24x24? I could add one…

Yes, thank you very much.
I use Gnome, so I need it in size 22x22 and 24x24px.

Quotation from freedesktop.org / Tango Icon Theme Guidelines:
"Small" is the common size for application toolbar icons.
Its bitmap size is 22×22 pixels. This size is common for toolbars in KDE and the GIMP.
Historically Gnome uses 24×24 size (which is ¼ of 48×48); just adding a 1 pixel empty space on all sides can make Tango icons useful on the Gnome desktop in the transition phase. One can easily do this with imagemagick:
convert -bordercolor Transparent -border 1x1 tango_size.png gnome_size.png
