Yep yep, it's been ages since I uploaded anything in here. Instagram is indeed more convenient to post things, and dA has been a ghost-town whether people wanna admit it or not. I do still read/see everyone's art and comments in here and write things but beyond that, it's not the best place to focus on.
But once in a while, I do want to do something much bigger than IG allows and post here, to keep things going.
But anyway, here's a small painting I did to get some atmospheric ideas out of my system. Enjoy!

love the concept of this, the gaint snake looks very nice with the blue colors and I overal love how you added some subtle textures with the brushes in this piece. gives it something extra ^^
and yea deviantart does seem to become less alive.. I haven't been active at all myself in the last year but it's not very motivating to return if the rest of DA is dying a bit. it's not surprising with all the competition.. but it is a shame. so far no other platform has the same perks as DA for me. (prefer the more "forum" type of environment here, makes it easier for more elaborate stuff and in communication as well)
