[HQS] Tendou Satori - 27
everyone, our favourite guess monster. do read the note at the end too, if you're up for some rant
Fingers cold as ice brushed against her warming cheeks. Her eyes were transfixed on his. His dark red pupils burned through her, his focus solely on the window of her soul.
"Satori," she breathed out after a moment's silence, "W-we should get back inside. It's getting cold."
His lips slowly curled into a grin, both sides of lips quirking at her and his parted lips flashed his pearly whites. "You always said you loved the cold, didn't you?" his grin faltered to a sly smirk, causing him to earn a glare from her.
"Come on, Satori," she laced her cold fingers around his thin wrist, pulling him with much effort against the hard wind. She shivered and attempted to pull her cardigan closer with her freehand but gave up midway when it proved to be futile. He barely moved an inch and she tightened her hold on him. She tugged once, then twice. "Come on, you lamp pole."
He saved her the trouble by forcefully pulling her against him. He wrapped his long arms around her waist and pressed her closer. He peered down at her, "That's an insult. I'm pretty sure I'm taller than a lamp pole, [name]."
She struggled against his hold but then gave up when the cold nipped at her skin. She opted to burying her face into his chest, hoping to gain warmth quickly. Her muffled voice broke through the harsh winds that forced her hair to dance, "Seriously," she gripped his printed sweater, "it's really cold, Satori."
He laughed and pulled her to stand on his feet, given the difference between their height, it barely helped her shortness.
"You're going to complain all day about your sore feet later," she grumbled, succumbing to his radiating warmth as she wrapped her arms around his waist and placed her head at the crook of his neck.
He ran a hand through her hair, "Doesn't matter. Right now, I'm just going to make you love the cold even more."
She could hear the mirth in his voice and there was a high chance that he was grinning, showing off his straight teeth.
She sighed, a low and long audible breath, before she quietly mumbled something.
He did not understand at first but a second later, the words were clear. He pressed his lips on top of her head, "I'm glad then."
Few minutes into their silence, Tendou grunted, attempting to shift.
"What?" she asked, peeling her eyes open.
Tendou scrunched his nose, "Get off my feet. They hurt as hell now."
She pinched his side a little before stepping off him, "Your fault, you dork."
He stretched his legs and moved his foot before jogging up to [name] who had walked ahead of him towards their home. "I am no dork!" he exclaimed, lacing his fingers between hers and pulling her closer to him.
She screwed her mouth to the side, "Yeah? Prove it, dork."
He rolled his eyes, "Easy peasy," and began listing all the things he thought to be undorky.
She suppressed a smile and leaned her head against his shoulder, hoping that his warmth could fend off the cold. He noticed this and released his hold on her fingers and wrapped his arm around her shoulders.
She pressed closer, "Warmer."
He grinned and hummed as he recalled the reason she loved the cold.
"I love it only because you're there to keep me warm."
He chuckled. He really could never guess her easily.
