Well, I must now say that, while I still enjoy the show, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, my interest in the show has gone down drastically. Somehow, to me anyway, it's lost some of its magic and charm. I already started feeling this drift away from the show as I stopped doing MLP vectors, and now, I think I can officially say that I am no longer a Brony. I am not a part of the community, and I can not easily say that I can live by the principles that most Bronies try to preach (whether they practice it or not). I have negative feelings in my heart, and I can't help but be a little judgmental sometimes. I know that the community has plenty of perfectly normal people who have real life hobbies, and participate to be beneficial to society. But the community, unfortunately, also has many people who really are perverts, and they go so far as to draw images or write fan fictions that go into very dark places, which, I almost can't help but think is an insult to the creators. I just don't think I want to be associated with such a community anymore, because, let's face it, people DO see the dark areas, from both, inside and outside of the community. Yes, many of the people outside of the community are judgmental, but there's also some truth in what they say about the negative aspects of the Brony community.

And so, I hereby relinquish all ties to the Brony community. My work will remain up, but I will no longer be dedicated to its own folder.
I just got through watching the documentary, Bronies: The Extremely Unexpected Adult Fans of My Little Pony, and it's really making me want to come back to dA. Perhaps soon.

Currenty: Leaning toward doing vectors again.

Accepting Requests: No (not yet anyway)
Every couple of weeks or so, I randomly log on and discover one or two vector requests. So I decided to put this entry up for those who still view this.

Currenty: Inactive

Accepting Requests: No

Sorry guys, but I'm still on a (possibly) permanent hiatus from doing vectors. Every now and then I come back to ask myself if I want to do it again. Yes, I do. But whether or not I can stay motivated is the deal breaker. And no, I can't stay motivated, not for more than a week, or even a few days. It's a Libra thing.
It seems like my life keeps bouncing back and forth between busy and not busy, but feeling blah. For those that still had been on my request queue, I regret to say, I will not be getting them done. There's just too much in my life to ponder, and quite frankly, my Brony state seems to be slowly fading away. I am actually quite sad about it, too. After all, my fandom helped me to become, at least, a little creative, more so than I've ever been anyway. Though most of what did was vectors and wallpapers anyway, I have learned much about art and even more about working with Photoshop and Illustrator than I did in my digital imaging classes I took in college. I've had a REASON to produce work, whether it was artful or not is the opinion of others. But as my profile describes, I view myself as a hobbyist, NOT and artist.

In any case, I'm officially on hiatus. Whether it's permanent or not just depends on how things go. But I certainly can say that I am not feeling productive. Little things get in the way, even something as small as my own laziness. And now that MLP: FiM is losing its hold on me, I just don't know what to do next. It was the REASON I wanted to do graphics. Never has anything else had such an influence in my life when it came to graphic design in ANY form. It's the main reason I feel sad that I'm losing my Brony state. I don't have anything else to inspire me to do graphics. Perhaps this was just a temporary thing, just as all things are merely temporary?

In the least, I am glad that I was able to do something in the community, even if my contribution was small. I am especially glad that there were those who appreciated some of the work I did, even if it was not really artful. My goal in producing images has always been to bring a smile to people's faces. I hope, in the very least, that I was able to do that.

I would like to close this entry by giving thanks to the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic community, and especially those who created vectors and magnificent pieces of art. You have all been a great source of inspiration to me, whether you know it or not. I especially thank those who have established clubs for Pony art. And I especially want to thank the staff at :iconmlp-vectorclub: for letting me be a member, and accepting my submissions. And thanks also to my watchers for, well, watching me. Unfortunately, I don't think there's much more to watch, if anything at all, from here on out.

I will still keep my profile up for others to view, and I'll see if I can't at least get back my drive to create something, whether it be more ponies or something else. Until then though. Good bye everypony!

Well, the world didn't end, and that's definitely a good thing. And of course, I'm no longer dealing with family shenanigans. Over these past several days, my mood has just been kinda... BLAH. I've not been motivated to do anything, and I've been moping over my lack of a love life (but that's another story). Anyway, I MUST GET MOTIVATED!!!! No more slacking and no more getting sad over trivial bullshit!  I still have a couple of requests I need to get done, and I still need to follow through with that Guild Project I wanted so badly to start on before January. GET MOTIVATED! GET MOTIVATED!

Currently:
NOT taking requests! I'm trying to get my current queue down so that I can work on a project for my GW2 guild. If any of you other GW2 ponies want to join, the website is > twentypercooler.guildlaunch.co… <.

My general policy is as follows. PLEASE READ ALL OF IT:

1. I mostly do vectors of characters from the show and OC Ponies. Just give me a source, and I'll do it. For OC Ponies, please a link to an original design, and a description or shot of what stance/pose you want.

(NOTE: If you link a source from another user to use as a base or reference, please make sure that it is okay to use that user's work. Many vectors from the :iconmlp-vectorclub: are typically okay to use, but it's always good to check a user's profile or ask them to be on the safe side.)

2. Nothing mature or sexually suggestive. In other words, nothing beyond an innocent kiss.

3. Nothing gory. I'd rather keep my work on the more innocent level.

4. I am willing to do shipping, even if it's homosexual, so long as it follows the above guidelines.

Lastly, I won't always accept requests. If it's something that looks like it will take a long time, I will usually either set the project aside for a later date, or I may not even do it at all. In other words, try and keep it simple. Also, as of tonight, I am officially starting up a queue, with a maximum of five projects. If there are five projects on the queue, then you will have to wait for an open spot before making a request, though I don't expect that it should happen. I generally try and get projects done within 3 days, with potentially shorter waiting times on the weekends, as I work full time Monday-Friday. Otherwise, it mostly depends on my mood, real life stuff, and the simplicity/complexity of the project.

If you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the 'Comments' section on my page.

Things have been a busy this week between work, snow and other little things that seem to have gotten in the way of me vectoring. Not to mention all the hippies in town (I live in Mount Shasta). With this whole 12/21/12 stuff going on, there's been a large flock of hippies and new age groups coming to Mount Shasta because of its supposed metaphysical atmosphere. And with some people believing that the world will end, work has been crazy and the grocery stores have been crazy. Anyway, hopefully tomorrow and the days to follow will just be another day and nothing more. I'll be back to vectoring the remaining requests on my queue soon, followed by working on my guild project, 'Winter in Ponyton'.

I figured I might as well get back to my request queue. It'll be a good warmup for a big project I'm going to be working on. We'll see how much I actually get done this time. LET THE VECTORING BEGIN.... again!

I really ought to apologize to those of you who have made requests. I'll be honest, over these passed 3 weeks, I've been back to my lazy ways and playing Guild Wars 2 (I'm addicted! O_O). You all have permission to call me a bad name on my front page.

In relation to the journal entry, I recently joined 'The Greater Brony Alliance' on Guild Wars 2. Sadly though, I'm on Blackgate while everypony else is on Jade Quarry, so I feel like a bit of a loner. Might end up transferring soon.

Yes, sadly, yet another game has taken a firm grip over me. It's a shame too, since I recently decided I wanted to get back into vectoring, and there's some previous projects that I want to touch up on, but video games are too much a part of my life. Anyway, I've become a Guild Wars 2 junky, and I love it! Can't say it's good for my dA page though. Anyway, I'll try and set time aside for other stuff. Keyword: 'try'.

BTW, my name is Unfiltered.4508, and my main character's name is Speil, in case any of you want to make contact with me in game. You can catch me on the Blackgate server. =)
It seems like most days I find myself feeling rather sleepy, especially since I started working at a warehouse. All that physical labor really takes its toll. It sucks, too because by the time I get off work, I don't feel like doing anything. Hence why my activity on dA has been on the downside these past few months. Then when my weekend comes, I tend to use that time playing a video game or something else, and my weekend seems so short. But it's just more of those things we endure to get through life. In the least, I appreciate that I get paid $11/hr, with the potential to make more in the future. Still, I just wish I weren't so damn tired most of the time. Maybe a change in my diet might help.
*Sigh* Yesterday was quite the tragedy. Everyone on dA knows how important their work is to them. And to lose it all is one of the worst things that can happen, especially when you've spent many hours on your work. Well, as it turns out, I've lost a good portion of my work on account of filesystem corruption. I did manage to restore some of my stuff, but it seems like most of the work I really cared for is now gone (the *.psd files). I could care less about the music and video files I had, because those can be retrieved again. But even after attempting a file recovery, half my work still came out as corrupt. I guess it's not as bad as it could be. But of all the bad things that have happened on my system, this is by far the worst. It'll take me a while to get over it.
Eeeyup! I've been slacking on the graphics. Reason? Diablo III. My gamertag is Starfall#1200 if anyone's interested.
I've been looking through some of my old wallpapers, and can't help but see flaws in some of them (missing shadows, or something I just don't like). Anyway, I've decided to go back and make some fixes with the ones where the character doesn't have a shadow, and I'm going through and revising all of the V2 wallpapers, simply because I'm not feeling it with some of the vectors I used in those ones.
It's been a good while since I've done anything with this page, and I've been getting a little bored lately. I think I might get back into doing vectors again here pretty soon, just for the heck of it.
