Zbrush Sculpture Day 4145 - I Started a Cargo Cult

In Pokopía, the landscape is... quiet, and the only things still wandering the ruins are a Tangrowth and a Ditto with far too much determination.

The game’s pattern is simple: rebuild a habitat, and something returns to live in it.

Professor Tangrowth and Ditto have taken that logic to heart.  If restoring Pokémon habitats brings Pokémon back… maybe restoring human habitats might bring humans back too.

This piece is my take on that feeling, (with Ditto wielding a Builder’s Hammer as a nod to Dragon Quest Builders.)

• This began as an exercise in explaining a game badly that escalated.

• Sculpted in Zbrush and rendered in Keyshot.
