Zbrush Sculpture Day 4144 - Hopeful Peakychu

After spending a lot of time in Pokopía on the Switch 2, this character stuck with me more than I expected.

She struggles in ways the game doesn’t call attention to - walking upright, dragging her tail, pulling herself up a single block like it takes everything she has. She keeps going even when she isn’t interacting with the player at all.

I wanted to capture that feeling. At the same time, I pushed myself to improve on every technique I’ve used in past Pokémon fan art.

• Sculpted in Zbrush and rendered in Keyshot.
