💡 Story / Idea
I sculpt original 3D artwork every day.
Since December 2014, I have used ZBrush, a digital sculpting program (basically digital clay) to create creatures, organic abstract forms, props, and small imagined ecosystems.
Each piece begins as a focused sculpting session. Some become expressive characters, some become abstract worlds, and some combine both by placing a creature inside an environment designed around it.
My work pulls from photography, clay sculpture, puppet and figurine design, painting, rendering, material creation, and compositing. I often use panoramic photos I have taken myself, so fictional creatures can be lit by real skies, trees, and landscapes.
This gallery is a record of a daily practice, not just a highlight reel. Some pieces are polished designs, some are quick studies, and some are experiments with shape, fur, lighting, materials, particles, atmosphere, or technique.
My background includes UX, technical writing, graphic design, and VFX concept work, but this gallery exists for art’s sake. The work is original, SFW, and approachable, built through craft, curiosity, and repetition.
If a piece stands out to you, adding it to your Favourites helps me see which creatures, subjects, and design directions people connect with. Watches are welcome if you want to follow the daily work. Thoughtful critique, design discussion, and process questions are appreciated.
My creations are posted on Blue Sky Social
