A decent amount of metal, a strong dose of classic rock, a touch of vocal trance and generous additions of vocal jazz tunes are what I work to best, which often motivates me enough to stop working and start air drumming or lie on my bed in ecstasy.
After years (has it been that long?) I've decided to can the place I've called home for a better part of my childhood, having started, learnt and influenced a great deal about vectors and illustrating from all the people here.
If you wish to follow my work and occasionally read my silly writing, you may opt to do so by liking this page (yes I've whored out for facebook):
As you can see the link is all fucked up without a proper title because it really is THAT new. Impressive, right? No? Okay, I wasn't either.
I also hang around here a fair bit:
Some of you might remember the little 6-poster series I did to illustrate the first verse of Slash's tune Baby Can't Drive back in 2011.
A friend of mine suggested I animate the poster, so in between projects over the combined course of three or four days, it came to life.
Baby Can't Drive in motion.
Two days ago my car was stolen.
Life sometimes really kicks you right in the face multiple times doesn't it? I don't even know how to feel any more about things at this rate. Shit happens, I know. I hope this is as low as it gets this year. All things considered, I am doing okay albeit feeling rather emotionless. But I'll be fine.
