01 - Earth Blue blink blazes the path, peeling
Pirouettes, sailing silhouettes,
Not yet finished, an ellipsis,
This is the only home we know.
From titans’ talons tearing the sky,
And colossals’ vessels wrestling in the sea,
Mother Earth stretches her arms
Like the horizon binds the sky.
And Mother Earth sees all
Just as the sun’s gaze blankets the land.
Oh, but how we are nothing
Against the endless tapestry of space,
In a way, so profoundly alone and yet,
In a way, so profoundly together.
We toil and trouble from the soil and rubble,
Arisen from clay, reigning over stone,
Bathing evermore in the light that’s shone
From the high heavens,
Basking eternally on warm dirt we dwell,
Heated always by the burning hells.
Oh earth, the cradle of beginnings,
Where all things sprout and grow.
Oh earth, the bed of endings,
Where all things wither and cease.
Oh earth, the maw of rebirth,
Where all things return, strong voices
Echoing the songs of ages gone by,
The next ring in the tree,
