Thank You This is my Favourite of my Digital Artworks so far.
Also I'd just like to thankyou for inspiring me with your iPad digital Art. I didn't think it was possible to do High Quality art on a Tablet but you have proved it is. I have a lot of Health and back problems and I think doing most of the work on a Tablet and then bringing it to final presentation on my Pc would be great and would help my back out a lot. I am looking to buy a iPad or Android Tablet next year!
Keep up the great work
I'm sorry to hear about your health issues. I know all about back problems! I'm glad I inspire you, I consider myself an advocate for the use of tablets to do art. Most if not all of mine have started on a tablet and been finished on the PC. Have fun on your journey and if I can give any advice just give me a shout.
Yeah Back problems seem to be a big problem for all artist's
Ok I might take you up on that advice offer?
My Main Problem is trying to decided which one to buy. Being on a disability Pension I have to try for the best Value. I either want to get the iPad Air or Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 or the Nexus 10 2 (When ever it gets released).
With the iPad Air I will have to buy a stylus. The Samsung comes with one. The apps on Both are basically the same...I want to get Sketchbook Pro, Procreate (iPad) or Art Flow (Android) & ArtRage (iPad or Android when released).
Also here in Australia I'm looking at $700 for an iPad Air then a Stylus $80. If I get a Samsung I'm looking at about $650.
Will 16gb model do or do i need to go for a 32Gb model. I plan to only use it for Drawing / Painting, Photo's for drawing references, some games & apps, Internet etc no Movies.
Thanks for any advice you can give to me
I have not used the Galaxy Note or any Nexus device yet so I cannot say much about them. I can how ever tell you that the iPad has been well worth the investment and coupled with a pressure sensitive stylus (which I find myself not using the sensitivity much, thats another story) it can be a great mobile art platform. The cost is high but I think the apps are a bit more polished on it. I have found the Android version of SBP lacking a bit and I am working with Autodesk to try and bring it up to par with the iPad version. As to the internal storage, as a general rule more is always better, the OS takes up a chunk of room and every sketch you make on the device takes up more room. Android devices are a bit more flexable in this area as well.
